Charlie is one of our well-loved dinosaurs at Hartford. Over the past 30+ years he has seen the company become the leader of locally owned Northern Colorado builders, and watched it become a place for great people to create their dreams. He currently works with construction field staff, both inside and outside the company, to ensure our homes provide the best possible experience for our customers. He is very proud of his grandkids, his kids, and his patient wife, and if he’s not here at work, he’s probably gone fishin’.

Tyler Colburn

VP of Sales and Marketing

Tyler has been with Hartford for 6 years and his passion for real estate started when he was very young. Even though this guy doesn’t drink coffee, he has more energy than the entire company combined. The energy is a blessing as he’s chasing around 4 kiddos when he’s not in the office! He loves spending time with his best friend; his wife, and fishing, hunting, skiing and cheering on the Nuggets!

He also enjoys golfing, archery, elk hunting, and watching college football!

Patrick McMeekin

Patrick has been with Hartford for 5 years and has been working in the real estate development industry in Northern Colorado for almost 20 years. When he's not solving the world's problems, you’ll find him golfing and skiing with his family!

Jason Stansberry

VP of Finance

Jason has been counting beans since the early 90’s across several different industries. Besides counting them at Hartford, he’s our class clown of the bunch. You never know what he’s got up his sleeve! Outside of work, Jason loves to cook for his family and play golf with his wife, Rachel, every chance they get.

Jamie Thorpe

VP of Entitlements

Jamie is a former urban planner who got poached by her favorite client – Hartford Homes! She loves to swim, hike, camp, and generally just explore Colorado. Jamie is also an artist and loves to work in both oils and watercolors, capturing on canvas all the places she explores. She has two amazing kids, who are also musical, artistic, and love to discover the world.

Jon Tschetter

VP of Operations

Jon Tschetter's 35+ years of experience in making dream homes a reality was the perfect match for Jon joining Hartford Homes in 2019. When Jon isn't sporting his graphite hard hat, you can find him taking home the cake on family trivia nights and jamming out to his favorite old school rock and roll tunes with his trusty sidekick, Seamus the dog — rumor has it Jon could be the next Bruce Springsteen.

Mike Welty

President of Homebuilding, Partner

Welty started in the new home industry in 2006 and joined the Hartford team in 2016. Welty is the President of Homebuilding and oversees day-to-day operations. When he’s not planning the next office prank, he enjoys traveling with his wife and kids and loves spending his Sundays rooting on the Broncos.

Shane Westlind

VP of Land Development

Shane is a Colorado native with over 26 years of experience in the land development/ construction industry. From pushing brooms to project management, Shane has done it all! In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling with his wife, working on remodeling projects, and spending time with friends and family.

Ethan Andree

Construction Manager

As a Colorado native, Ethan loves being a part of a local, hometown builder like Hartford. When he's not working on your dream home, Ethan loves hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and two year old daughter.

Jonathon Cairns

Director of Commercial Construction

Jonathan has been in the Construction Industry for 35+ years. His love for fine finish work & furniture building lured him into a love for custom construction projects. “I love my job…I get to build all of the fun stuff for our neighborhoods… Pools, clubhouses, splash pads, pocket parks & more!” When he’s not training his dog, Cooper, you can most certainly find him on the golf course with friends or hunting wild trout on Colorado’s mountain streams.

Cody Cox

Construction Manager

Cody cox started in the construction business right out of high school, learned the ropes, and worked his way up to a construction manager; a goal he strived for the day he started! When he’s not out making home buyer’s dreams come to life, he’s at home, remodeling and working on the Homefront. He spends most of his free time with his son.

Kamrin Edmonds

Home Warranty Manager

Kamrin is originally from Nebraska (GO BIG RED!), but has called Colorado home for the past three years. His favorite Colorado past time is flying C-172s over the scenic Rocky Mountains. When he's not in the skies or smiling with Hartford Homeowners, he can be found playing with his puppy, Meeka.

Jacob Embry

Construction Manager

Jacob found his passion for the construction industry back in 2004 and loves that he gets to be in the field and learning something new everyday. He and his family love to be outside as much as possible - Golfing, hiking, walking, exploring new craft breweries, you name it. If it's outside, Jacob is there!

Adam Hess

Area Construction Manager

Adam is originally from New England and moved to Colorado to get a Masters of Science in Construction Management from CSU and decided to stay permanently. He has an amazing wife named Hannah, and two wonderful girls (Lucy and Josey) that are in elementary school. In his free time, he loves skiing, live music, motorcycle trail riding, fishing, home remodeling, and hanging out with his family at their mountain cabin. He has a passion for building homes and prides himself on building neighborhoods that will last lifetimes.

James makes sure our buyer’s homes are built to the Hartford Homes’ standard. He loves getting his hands dirty, whether that’s out on the job site or out catchin’ fish. In his free time, James can be found camping in the Rocky Mountains or cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks!

Drew Meister

Drew moved to Colorado with his wife and three kiddos in 2021. He was a teacher for 13 years prior to tossing his hat into the construction industry ring. He loves spending his free time fishing, biking, or hiking, and prides himself on being a cold brew coffee connoisseur.

Sherman is our gentle giant! When he’s not out keeping dream homes on track, he’s huntin’ and fishin’ just like the rest of us!

Gabriel Vasquez

Gabe is a Southern Colorado native, but moved to Northern Colorado to attend Colorado State University (Go Rams!). He loves to snowboard, hike, camp, and spend time with his dogs and wife-to-be.

Meghan Carrajat

Community Sales Manager

The Colorado sunshine and all of the amazing outdoor activities and parks brought Meghan and her family westbound from South Jersey. She has a passion and wealth of expertise in the new home industry, working for a New Jersey based national builder, but has loved joining a smaller, local builder with a great culture and mission for Northern Colorado. When she's not improving lives and helping people purchase their dream home, she can be found on the beach with a delicious beverage and her husband Jesse by her side, or at Disney World with her three little kiddos!

Emily Chess

Community Sales Manager

Emily knew she loved real estate when she interned for a brokerage in college. From there, she accepted her position with Hartford a week after graduation and hasn’t turned back since! Outside the sales office, you can find her planning her next world trip or hanging with her favorite pup Moose at local New Belgium Brewery!

Julie believes life is meant to be lived in community with others and that homes are meant for hosting. She has a passion for connecting families with the perfect home for their next life adventure. If she isn’t meeting new people in the Sales Office, she is usually enjoying the outdoors with her family, reading, planning the next girl’s night, or tackling an organizing project.

Jill is our award-winning sales veteran here at Hartford. She’s been on the Hartford sales team for 7 years now. Kendall started in the new home construction industry in 2016, began working as an Online Sales Counselor in 2017, and then obtained her Real Estate license in 2020. (Yes, she’s a real person & that really is a photo of her on the website!) She is our award-winning OSC. She loves playing matchmaker during your new home search by understanding your wants and needs and helping you find the perfect community/home. Kendall is a Colorado native. In her free time, she spends as much time as possible with her husband, son, and two pups. She also loves rooting on her home teams, traveling with her family, listening to live music, and camping in the mountains.

Some may say we “stole” Sarah from another builder, but that’s neither here nor there. Sarah is a people person with a knack for selling dream homes! She’s our Disney lover. When she’s not planning family trips to Disney Land, she’s cozied up by the fire watching a movie with her husband and kiddos.

When she’s not in our model homes working, you can usually find her in one of two places: 1. Touring other model homes, soaking in stunning home designs or 2. Lori is our Excel spreadsheet WIZARD! She can almost “make a pumpkin pie pop out of a computer!” When she’s not blowing our minds with her insane spreadsheet skills, she’s pouring her heart into her laser engraving business! She also loves exploring the great Colorado outdoors with her family by boating or camping!

Belinda joined the company five years ago and is thrilled to support her team through her H.R. skills. Belinda and her therapy team partner, Finn, enjoy spreading joy and friendship. Belinda is also an avid fiber artist, and you will find her spinning, weaving, or crocheting most evenings. Oksana finds it incredibly rewarding to see how all the sketches and drawings come to life and what impact it has on others! In her free time, she enjoys a good book, yoga sessions, and painting!

Britt made the choice to change her career in 2018 and found her new path here at Hartford Homes. She started out at the heart of Hartford Homes, meeting and greeting everyone from the front desk, and has moved into her new role in the Purchasing department. When she’s not keeping our starts moving as smoothly as possible, you can find her snuggled on the couch with her pup or exercising her old passion of dance.

Steve brings his 30 years of Land Development experience to the Hartford team and has been directly involved with developing 1000’s of residential lots within dozens of communities along the front range of Colorado from Castle Rock to Wellington. During his free time, he enjoys Flyfishing, Jeeping, and most of all, spending time with his family doing anything outdoors.

Mike has been a successful residential developer for many years in Northern Colorado. He brings essential talent and experience to the Land Development Team here at Hartford! Outside of work, he enjoys flying, golfing, hiking, and spending time in the mountains with family and friends.

Wendi brings over 18 years of entitlements and design review expertise to the Hartford team. She is a third generation quilter, avid water color artist, and enjoyer of neighborhood walks with her husband and their two dogs, Summit and Autumn.
